My name is Stephanie and I was born and raised in Vancleave. I am twenty-seven years old and I am about to celebrate yet another birthday on June 15th. I love my family and I live at home with my parents and little sister. I currently work at Vancleave Lower Elementary with the first grade and I will start my third year in August. I absolutely love what I do and I love every one of my kids becuase they bring such joy to my life. I work in a wonderful school with amazing teachers and when I graduate, I hope to be working there as well with my own classroom. In whatever free time that I have, I enjoy reading, writing, and watching television, whether it be cheesy reality shows or my favorite show, Supernatural. I am a self-proclaimed geek, loving the latest technologies and even going to fan conventions for Supernatural.
As far as writing experience goes, I am pretty comfortable with it and I enjoy doing it in my free time because it serves as a stress reliever for me. I love to use my imagination and come up with stories. The writing I enjoy most of all is writing for the public. I write fanfiction (stories using characters from television, books, movies, etc.) and I publish them on the Internet for others to read and review. I find the words come easily to me and I love to tell a good story that I hope others will enjoy. As far as struggling with writing, I would have to say I have trouble with academic writing because I am being forced to writing on a given topic. I just find myself staring at my paper or screen for the longest time when I have to write academic papers and I cannot stand that feeling. I do not like for my writing to be forced because when that happens, I feel as if I am not giving it my best.
